Dani Nobrega is an international retreat leader, somatic practitioner, and dance educator whose work lives at the intersection of embodiment, attachment healing, and subconscious transformation.

Originally trained as a professional Latin and Ballroom dancer, Dani has spent over 20 years teaching movement internationally and supporting people of all ages in reconnecting with their emotional expression through the body. Her early academic path led her to become a PhD Candidate at Queen’s University, where she researched critical pedagogy and alternative approaches to learning and development. During this time, Dani encountered The Groove Method and made the pivotal decision to step away from academia in order to help build and grow this global movement-based approach to self-expression and wellbeing.

Over the following decade, she traveled extensively throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia — developing educational programs, mentoring facilitators, and bringing creative, embodied learning experiences into schools and communities around the world. For five years, she also led international retreats focused on movement, meditation, and personal transformation.

Alongside her work in movement education, Dani has continued to deepen her studies in integrative and mind-body healing approaches. Her current work draws from somatic awareness, meditation, guided inner journeys, visualization, and nervous system–informed practices to support clients in exploring attachment patterns, cultivating emotional regulation, and gently shifting subconscious beliefs formed through early relational experience.

Dani’s approach is rooted in the understanding that lasting change arises not through force or analysis alone, but through embodied awareness, internal safety, and compassionate presence. Today, she works privately with individuals seeking deeper self-trust, emotional resilience, and a more connected relationship to themselves and others.
